BeneSphera HCV Microwell ELISA (IHF) is an in vitro, enzyme immuno assay for the qualitative determination of antibodies to Hepatitis C Virus in human serum or plasma.

To evaluate specificity of the BeneSphera HCV a total of 1500 samples were tested. All these samples were collected from the normal donors. Out of 1500 samples, 10 samples were found to be positive with BeneSphera HCV . The specificity of the BeneSphera HCV was thus found to be 99,3%.

The sensitivity of the BeneSphera HCV against tested commercially available HCV panels and samples obtained from clinical sites.

To test reproducibility of BeneSphera HCV, three plates from three production batches each were randomly selected and tested against a Q.C. panel of HCV positive and negative samples.
